Well, I've decided I've had a thought that's actually worth sharing, finally. lol. I've been playing around with the Lomo affect and the Lomo Philosophy of photography and found my 'style' I guess. I would never say I'm pro or even good, but I'm starting to really enjoy my pictures more and more. I've found that the less I worry about the technicals of the photography the better my pictures come out. When I started thinking about it, I realized that I'm worrying less and less about what speed, what settings, lines, composition and the like and worrying more about what am I trying to say or what am I taking a picture of. Photography to me is a way for me to show other people the way I see the world and the beauty in it. By taking pictures that I 'feel' needs to be taken rather than pictures I 'think' needs to be taken, in a way, I'm being more honest with myself and more honest to the art, and, producing better pictures. Because I think photography, unlike painting/drawing/etc, is about showing your point of view on the 'outside' and if your not honest about what you see, it shows in the pictures. I also think that people can tell when your not being truly honest in what you see and it leaves a subconscious bad taste. Who knows, maybe I'll be a good photographer yet
